Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)

1. How do I place an order?

You can place an order by emailing me at bunnybakes.scotland@gmail.com; or contacting me on my phone number 07340695356 via Whatsapp or phone call.

2. What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay via PayPal, Bank Transfer, secure Card Payment Link (we will provide this upon placing your order) or Cash. 

​

3. How far in advance should I place an order for a custom cake?

Regular baking like simple cakes or breads can be ordered 1 week in advance.  Cakes for special events or complex and elaborate flavours should be ordered at least 2 weeks in advance.

4. Do you offer delivery services?

Yes, we provide a complimentary delivery service for all orders within Abernyte. 

For orders throughout Dundee, a mileage fee (of 20P per mile) is applied to the final invoice, calculated based on the delivery address.

Orders outside Dundee are considered, but the final mileage fee will depend entirely on distance. The further away form Dundee, the higher the mileage fee.

5. Can I pick up my order instead of having it delivered?

Absolutely! You can choose to pick up your order at my HQ in Abernyte (full address will be given upon placing your oder). When placing an order, we can discuss what dates and times suit you and I'll do my best to accomodate. 

​

6. What is your cancellation policy?

For regular orders, cancellations can be done up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or collection date for a full refund. Specialised cake orders for events cannot be cancelled, but the date can be changed if requested at least 3 days in advance.

In extenuating circumstances, we may allow cancellations within the 48-hour period, in which case a credit note will be issued for future orders.

7. Can I make changes to my order?

Yes, you can make changes to your order. For regular orders, please contact me at least 48 hours before the schedule delivery/collection cakes.  For custom cakes, changes should be requested at least 3 days before the scheduled delivery/collection date. For changes in quantity, where the new quantity is less than originally ordered, a credit note will be issued for the difference.

8. How do I change the delivery or pickup date for my custom cake order?

If you need to change the delivery/collection date for your special event cake, please contact me at least 3 days before the originally scheduled date, and I will do my best to accommodate your request.

9. Do you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?

Yes, I offer options for various dietary restrictions and allergies. Please inform me of any specific requirements at the time of ordering. While I take utmost care to avoid cross-contamination, my kitchen processes various allergens, and I cannot guarantee that our products are completely free from traces of allergens. Please note that I do have cats in the house, and even though they are not allowed in the kitchen there is always the small risk for those who are severely allergic.

10. Do you offer Gluten-Free Options?

I do offer a small range of gluten-free products. Unfortunately my kitchen is very small and I cannot guarantee that they will be 100% free of traces of gluten. Please take care when choosing to purchase gluten-free products from gluten-handling kitchens if you have a life-threateaning condition!

11. What should I do if I am not satisfied with my order?

Your satisfaction is very important to me. If you are not happy with your order, please contact me within 24 hours of receiving your cake, and I will do my best to resolve the issue.
